Counseling & Career Service

Starting your career raises many questions? Whether you want to plan your career path, prepare for the perfect entry into the job world, or have your application documents reviewed – make use of the free counseling service provided by the Federal Employment Agency (Agentur für Arbeit) and the FAU Career Service.

Appointments are available on the FAU Tech campus:

Individual counseling by the Academic Service of the Employment Agency for everyone who is about to enter the workforce (including application counseling) or is considering changing their subject or dropping out of their studies.

Language: The counseling can take place in German or in English.

Registration: Please register directly with Mr. Michael Hümmer from the Academic Counseling Service of the Employment Agency: michael.huemmer@arbeitsagentur.de

Venue: MHB building, Erwin-Rommel-Straße 60, 91058 Erlangen, room 0.232 (next to the SSC service desk)

Soft Skill Seminars

In addition to subject-specific knowledge, soft skills are important for professional success and personal development. FAU offers you practical workshops and events to deepen essential methodological skills and acquire hands-on abilities.
