My research areas:

I am working in wireless communication and signal processing. The research topics include integrated sensing and communication, massive random access, and wireless artificial intelligence.

Home University / Research Institute:

College of Information Science and Electronic Engineering, Zhejiang University, China.

Host research group:

I work in the research group led by Prof. Robert Schober at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg, which is a senior group in integrated communication and sening and intelligent reflecting surface.

Research period at the Faculty of Engineering, FAU:

August 1, 2022 – July 31, 2024

What is the focus of your research during your visit?

My research at FAU targets integrated sening and communication (ISAC) systems. ISAC is expected to become a defining element of sixth generation (6G) mobile communication networks. ISAC will enable the integration of advanced sensing features (e.g., localization, detection of movement, velocity estimation) into commercial mobile communication systems. I will investigate the optimal resource allocation and fundamental performance limits of such systems.

I choose FAU because:

Because the FAU is one of Germany’s most outstanding research universities. FAU has many leading researchers, who can help me to expand my knowledge of future wireless communication systems during my stay.
