Activating Teaching Methods - compact & hands-on Alessandra Kenner M.A. How can students in courses at the Faculty of Engineering be effectively engaged - even in large classes? In this 45-minute interactive workshop, participants will experience selected activating teaching methods from a learner's perspective and try out how to apply them. The focus is on simple formats that enhance participation and conceptual understanding. Awareness in Teaching - Explore, Experience, Reflect Harriet Ziegler M.A., Dr. Julia Will, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Philipp Beckerle In this interactive workshop, you will engage with multiple dimensions of diversity and experience typical challenges in teaching contexts from new perspectives. A short Diversity Walk (a perspective-shifting exercise), a role-play, and a group reflection will sharpen your awareness and open up new options for action, drawing on the FAU Awareness Toolkit.
