CHE Master’s Ranking 2025: Faculty of Engineering scores with top results
The master’s programs at FAU’s Faculty of Engineering are among the top performers in the CHE Master Ranking 2025. In particular, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology as well as Mechanical Engineering received top marks.
- Electrical Engineering and Information Technology: Top ratings in 12 out of 17 categories, including study conditions, support from lecturers, course offerings, digital teaching elements, and research and practical orientation.
- Mechanical Engineering: Leading positions in 11 out of 15 categories, including support, study organization, course offerings, and research orientation.
Materials Science and Chemical Engineering also stand out for their strong research orientation.
The ranking
For the CHE Master’s ranking, Master’s students assess their study conditions based on the general study situation, courses on offer, organization of studies and scientific relevance, including the options for taking a more in-depth approach in academic working, the incorporation of innovative research in the Master’s degree program, and the use of digital teaching elements. In addition, the ranking also covers indicators such as funding per researcher, publications per researcher, citations per publication and doctoral degrees per professor.
