Due to limited space, for environmental reasons and to keep escape routes clear, old and discarded bicycles will be removed again at the FAU Campus Erlangen Süd / Faculty of Engineering.
This is how it works:
- Marking: Bicycles that are obviously no longer in use are first marked with barrier tape.
- Deadline: If this marking is not removed by February 15, 2025 at the latest, we assume that the bike is no longer needed and it will be removed.
- Temporary storage: Removed bicycles will be stored temporarily for a period of 3 months.
- Disposal: At the end of the storage period, uncollected bicycles will be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
Contact for collection: If your bike has been removed, you can contact the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Engineering to collect it within the storage period.
