Recognizing, avoiding and preventing sexual harassment in everyday research and teaching
Date: 18th June 2024Time: 9:00 am – 10:00 amLocation: Zoom
In heterogeneous working groups, conflicts often arise unintentionally, which, if left unresolved, can have a negative impact on the working atmosphere and develop unchecked into concrete harassment structures. This workshop will give participants the opportunity to think about concrete strategies to avoid sexual harassment in the team and in the classroom, and how to react if sexist behaviour occurs. In addition to input from the trainer, the programme includes peer-to-peer exchange and individual transfer to one's own teaching.
Specific content:
- Recognising sexism
- Preventing sexist behaviour
- Dealing with and avoiding sexism in the workplace
For participating in this course, you will receive 1 AE in area D (Reflection and Evaluation) for the Certificate for Teaching in Higher Education of the Bavarian Universities.
