Alumni Technische Fakultät Erlangen e.V. (ATE)
The Alumni Technische Fakultät Erlangen e.V. (ATE) is a network for students and graduates, entrepreneurs and companies, professors and staff of the departments as well as other persons with a deep relation to the faculty of engineering. We support these groups of persons in building and fostering professional and personal relations.
Since the ATE has deep roots in the region of Erlangen-Nürnberg and has on the other hand international relations, the ATE offers to its members an ideal platform for staying in contact and also get ahead in their job.
Being a member in the ATE, you benefit from our services. We also keep you informed about the current developments at the faculty. By participating in events of the departments, the faculty, university and our partners in industry and also online in our web portal, you enhance your personal network and meet former fellow students and companions.
For Students our mentoring program offers an excellent opportunity of getting promoted by experienced engineers from science and industry. Thus, they can take profit from their professional know-how and their experience. In so-called career events, interested students can get insider tips to career entry and how you can get ahead. Excellent students can be promoted by an ATE-Scholarship.
As Alumna/-us you stay informed about the research at your university and you have the possibility for exchanging information – with other successful alumni and with the next generation of engineers. By getting an ATE-Mentor, you can also pass over your expertise and your professional know-how to the next generation and at the same time get in touch with qualified junior staff for your company.
For Companies and Sponsors, the ATE is a valuable link to the Faculty of Engineering. We offer various opportunities to inspire potential junior staff and to participate in the innovation power of the Faculty of Engineering.
Last but not least, Professors and Staff of the Faculty of Engineering may use the ATE as a platform to inform students and alumni about events or other interesting news of the departments and chairs via the ATE-Homepage or the ATE-Newsletter.
