Award for Medical and Bioengineers

The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has named Professor Aldo R. Boccaccini, FAU Chair of Materials Science (Biomaterials), as a fellow and member of the College of Fellows.

Election to the AIMBE College of Fellows is one of the highest professional honors bestowed on medical and bioengineers.

Professor Boccaccini was chosen by colleagues and members of the College of Fellows “for his pioneering contributions to the design of bioactive materials for regenerative medicine, drug delivery, and 3D bioprinting applications.”
