Visiting Professor from Johns Hopkins University

Prof. Alejandro Martin-Gomez is an assistant research professor in the Department of Computer Science and a member of the Laboratory for Computational Sensing and Robotics (LCSR) at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore (USA). He focuses on Augmented Reality, specifically Medical Applications as well as Perception.

During his three-week visit with Professor Daniel Roth, Juniorprofessor for Human-Centered Computing and Extended Reality, he gave a lecture on “Visual Perception, Mixed Reality, and their transferability to medical scenarios” as well additional talks in individual sessions with industry partners. The lab members had engaging conversations with him about Mixed Reality in the context of medicine and greatly benefitted from his feedback.
